Wadiah Foundation proudly introduces our food bank initiative at Vision College. As an organization committed to assisting those in need, we have established this food bank with the goal of providing essential meals to our students who are facing hunger issues. Our mission is reflected in our slogan: “Take what you need, share what you have.”
At the Wadiah Foundation food bank, we understand the challenges faced by some Vision College students in meeting their basic food needs. With the rising costs of education and living expenses, many students struggle to afford nutritious meals. Therefore, we strive to alleviate this burden by ensuring that no student goes hungry while pursuing their education.
This food bank operates on a simple principle: students can obtain the food they need at no cost. We respect the privacy and dignity of every student by giving them the freedom to choose food that suits their needs and preferences. Additionally, we encourage students who are able to donate food or other resources to the food bank, fostering a spirit of sharing within our community.
